About EDGE

Specialists in business school learning media

EDGE Learning Media is a dynamic African business with a visionary and innovative approach to education. Using a full-service publishing model, we are able to design and build bespoke learning content for institutions, training providers and anyone else. This means that our clients come to us with their specific learning material needs, and we endeavour to meet them.

We specialise in an extensive range of business school subjects, including (among many others) bookkeeping and accounting, tax, office administration, financial management, human resource management, computyping, end-user computing, business English and business mathematics, business law and accounting control, governance, banking and personal finance. You can browse this catalogue to see a full list of our current and forthcoming books.

We have worked hard to establish relationships with clients across the country, and continue to work hard to provide ongoing service to those clients. Our national footprint enables us to do so.

What is full-service publishing?

We believe that learners deserve high quality, innovative and professional learning media. All of our material is developed by teams of leading experts in their fields. We develop media at the request of our clients, but we also strive to create media for subjects and courses that we believe are needed in the business school sphere. Our offerings include textbooks, study guides, study and solutions guides, workbooks, lecturer guides and CDs, sample questions, assessment questions and memorandum preparation, video learning, and online facilitator and lecturer support. We believe in ‘perpetual’ quality assurance, meaning our material is always current – in terms of the latest industry, legislative and tax regulations.

Who are our Clients?

EDGE develops learning material for Further Education and Training (FET) colleges, and for Higher Education (HE) institutions. We have published textbooks for professional bodies such as the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), the Institute of Business Studies (IBS), the South African Institute of Management (SAIM) and the South African Institute of Tax Practitioners (SAIT). Numerous training providers have also benefited from our media:
